Sigh
Everyone, it seems, has seen Star Trek but me. Please don't tell me about it or talk about it too near me. I will see it. I have to see it. I knew it would be fantastic as soon as it was announced that J.J. Abrams was directing. J.J. Abrams can do no wrong. (Well, he did write Armageddon, but other than that...)

I'm a big Star Trek fan and can't wait to see the new film. Everything I've read so far is positive, but I did see one video clip that didn't impress, where Kirk meets Uhuru in the bar. It jsut seemed a little weird, but maybe it needs to be seen in context.
The Ohura thing ...
That's all I'm going to say.
You'll know the end of it after you see it. :)
I haven't seen it yet...if that helps :)
He wrote Armageddon? Well, I suppose it's good to know he's not perfect;)
K, it does help. :) I know I'm not literally the only person who hasn't had a chance to see it yet, but it's nice to identify an actual person in that category.
J.J. wrote several movies you've heard of before he got his start on Felicity. He wrote "Gone Fishin'", "Forever Young", and "Regarding Henry". And he wrote the James Belushi-Charles Grodin classic "Taking Care of Business".
