U.K. bars entry to anti-gay American preacher
An anti-gay U.S. Christian preacher and his daughter have been barred from entering Britain as they could spread "extremism and hatred," the British government said Thursday.

I dislike this guy intensely.
But he shouldn't be banned. If it's a free society, and he doesn't injure people, they should let him in.
Like the guy says at the end of the article, his crazy speeches discredit himself. The state doesn't need to censure him.
That having been said ... I really, really, really dislike that guy. And would kick him in the shins as soon as look at him.
I really don't disagree with you, although I guess the UK gets to set its own rules. I do hope the US wouldn't prevent a non-violent protester into our country just because we don't like the content of his message.
I did have a brief moment, though, of thinking how nice it would be just to be able to keep him out of my state.
When I was in law school, he came to my university to protest. Everyone was all up in arms and organizing counter-protests while all the Kansas folks kept trying to convince everyone just to stay the heck away. Don't give him the publicity he so deeply desires.
I wonder if by denying him entry, the UK inadvertently gave him more press than he would have gotten from his silly little protest.
Wow. Just...wow. How do people like that manage to survive on their own past adulthood? He says the death of our military troops are because we tolerate homosexuality? I wonder what his excuse is for all the deaths that are occurring in those countries that don't tolerate it?
Dreamy, my personal favorite is their sign that says God blew up the space shuttle. That one came up after the Columbia blew up in 2003. I never could figure out why they picked that event.
Don't try too hard to figure them out. They're just wacked.
