If I were in charge, part 2

no one would ever again use the phrase "that being said." It's overused, weak language. Meaningless, pointless, stupid.

Drives me crazy. CRAZY.

    And 'clinical'. It makes things seem more "sciency-like".

    A clinical trial is a trial.
    A clinical examination is an examination.
    A clinical diagnosis is a diagnosis.

    ... etc.

    I always love hearing other peoples' language pet peeves. I had never thought of that one, but now I suspect I will notice every single time the word "clinical" is used.
