SO took this picture soon after giving her some bacon. I think this look is, "Please, sir, I want some more." With a healthy dose of, "If I sit really still and give him my undivided attention, he'll think I'm a good dog and give me bacon!"
And who knows, LL, maybe despite her love for bacon, she does not digest it well.
Several years ago my cat ingested a whole lot of bacon fat (from the tray that you put at the edge of a George Foreman grill) and after puking up a lot of it, he kinda hung out making this percolating noise and looking really unhappy.
I can see how the look could be interpreted as one of longing, too, but there's a bit of a flare in her nostrils that suggests something else to me. Maybe you should consider a pet psychic.
I'm no dog expert, but that kinda looks like, "I'm constipated, help!"
